The DIFK foundation is more than something to get involved with. The foundation is an organization that instills the true meaning of what it means to educate, inspire, and to give back. Since I’ve been participating with the foundation it’s been easy for me to succeed in school and in general life. Knowing Kahlin meant a lot to me because he showed me that it was okay to be loving and caring to those around me and to those around me who I don’t know. That made me realize that it’s much to be done in my community, which is why joined DECA & FBLA to learn about what I can do in my community. Personally I feel as if Kahlin and The foundation has made me a better man. With receiving this scholarship I feel as if I have made Kahlin proud. This truly means that I have done it for kahlin. I appreciate this opportunity.
